Nizam's Wedding Part 4 - Saturday

The reception day at Gombak. With a convoi of 5 cars, we headed to my Abang Din's sister's house, whose house is just about 15 minutes from the reception hall. Nizam bersiap kat situ.

Let's see - Hubby and Lia the main persons siapkan his baju, Izzat jadi pengapit, while yours truly (yang make-up pun jarang-jarang ni) telah menjadi Mak Andam terjun sungai. Mula-mula memang macam tepung gomak, maklumlah, foundation I untuk kulit I lah kan, tapi pakaikan pada muka orang lain of course lah tak sesuai gitu. But it turned up quite OK because setelah disental foundation tersebut sehingga it sets in, by the time the bersanding started, Nizam's skin nampak very smooth. Err.. from a far lah. And in the photos too. Dekat-dekat nampak la jerawat batu pun jadi putih.

The reception on the bride's side was very well organised, we believe contributed by the excellent MC they engaged.
Hubby & Lia menyiapkan pengantin.
Mak andam terjun sungai namanya ni. Mak andam ni punya make-up kit guna bag Barney Aliyah.
Bersanding... beautiful pelamin...
Akak terpaksa duduk kat meja pengantin sebab "orang tua-tua" yang lain semua tak nak & malu duduk situ. Kesian pulak tengok my Abang Din round tanya sapa-sapa from his side nak duduk depan and they all tak nak. Mostly sebab datang in couples and families. Last-last my Kak Long came over and asked my favour. Takut the bride's family kecil hati pulak. Duduk kat meja pengantin ni boring betul. Orang lain semua dah start makan, we all kena tunggu dulu - tepung tawar la, speech la, apa la... Ciss...
Nizam and Zura...

After the reception, we went back to my Kak Long's place to get ready for reception on our side pulak. Rehat about 2 hours, lepas Maghrib terus pergi dewan Kelana. The whole thing was not set up yet. We all pun pasang bunga manggar, masukkan telur untuk bunga pahar, while the men went out pacak signboards.
Pasang bunga manggar while Aliyah & Nurul main roller blade. We only went back at 12.30am. And the place was still empty at that time... No tables, chairs, whatever... But the caterer assured us everything will be ready come morning.
