Small Celebration

Yesterday was our 21st anniversary. Can't believe it's been 21 years already. Insyallah semoga kami kekal bersama hingga akhir hayat. Actually, awal bulan dulu I dah book staycation di PD. Hubbs has been working like crazy for the past 2 months ever since he joined this new company. Anak comel pun nampaknya macam memerlukan timeout. Sekali tu PKP lah pulak. Duduk rumah sajalah nak buat macam mana kan. Sigh... hope things will get better. We really need to go somewhere to unwind. Our anniversary lunch yesterday. Mula-mula Hubbs nak Tony Romas. Bila discuss bertiga nak makan apa - rumah ni dah la masing-masing kaki tengok cerita Korea kan, tekak pun dah jadi Korea gak. So we changed to K-Fry. Tidak mengecewakan langsung memandangkan ini first time order K-Fry guna GrabFood. Packaging was excellent. Taste lagilah excellent. Memang tak habis sambung makan untuk dinner! This year I gave this to Hubbs. A silver ring. Last Tuesday dapat. Awal lah pulak. Wedding ring dia has gone miss

Nothing Much Nothing Much

I don't count MCO days anymore. Too much work. Too many days. Covid-19 cases continue to climb. My last check on My Sejahtera showed 44 new cases within 1km radius of our home. We are staying put at home. Semalam keluar kejap dengan anak comel pergi beli barang sikit dan singgah McD drive-thru for sundae and latte. Anak comel lagi lah terperuk kat rumah tak keluar langsung these days. She's in her 5th semester taking 7 subjects. Sekejap-sekejap ada mid-term exam. I really hope she's coping with her online classes. Selalu bagitau dia if she feels overwhelmed, don't keep it to herself. Tell us.  My sewing project is slowly progressing. Really slowly... I made one bag last week. Now slowwwlllyyy doing another bag. Fitness wise, I completed all stars for January Samsung challenge. I notice the deadline for each star is way, way lenient.  Tinggal nak habiskan challenge je. Tapi kan... Karrimor I dah terkopak.   Ni kalau hantar gam pun dah tak boleh buat apa. Jadinya semalam

PKP 2.0 and Emergency Declaration

It's been busy, busy days on social media. First, PKP 2.0 was declared by the PM on Monday, and it starts today and ends on the 26th. If cases go down that is. For all we know, it might get extended. Secondly, just the day after, the King declared state of emergency in the country to curb the spread of Covid-19. So, status quo until August. Those (greedy) politicians can stop dreaming of having an election very soon! Last Saturday sempat ke Bukit Beruntung visit my Abang Ben. It's been so, so long since we see each other. Anak comel selalu tanya - Pak Ben tak datang minggu ni? Just nice jumpa before PKP started. Sambil jumpa, sambil dapat hadiah sebenarnya.  Despite being overwhelmed, brought back this stash. Esoknya terus spring clean my kitchen cabinet. 3 plastic besar juga trashnya. Dekat 2 hari mengerjakan dapur. Sekarang barang dah teratur! Budak ni busy betul sebab ada banyak soft toys. Ini favourite dia. Perasmian mangkuk baru! Since Monday orang bersesak-sesak beli bara

2021 Please Be Kind to Us

It's already one week into the year 2021. So far... it's been chaotic. Number of Covid-19 cases is climbing by the day. Devastating floods in the East Coast is worsening. Meanwhile, politicians are busy planning for PRU15 when the rakyat couldn't care less about them. The only consolation for me at the moment is the nice cool weather we are having everyday.  After almost a year of not going out much, I finally joined the usual achik-achik for a very short getaway. We went to Fraser's Hill on Friday and came back on Saturday. On Sunday, landslides blocked the roads going up and down the hill. Alhamdulillah by then all of us are safely back home. The weather was damp and cool as usual but it just drizzled a bit while we were up there. We were very lucky! On Sunday it rained real bad (everywhere) that led to the landslides. The usuals - Jay, Ies, Mas and I. The weather was cool and foggy suitable for good long walks. And we did just that!  I think I appreciate Fraser's
