Living with Sarah

 I took anak comel for a one-night trip to Ipoh just before she started her new semester. Just the 2 of us. Rasa macam nak try naik ETS and Ipoh is just about 2 hours plus away via train. Trip yang agak challenging, for her at least, because lots of walking, waiting, more walking under the hot sun, sitting for what seemed like endless hours in the train... I hope I managed to toughen her up a bit. For me, balik esoknya my sciatica terus flared up! Day 1 (13 Mar 23): We took the komuter from Bangi to KL Sentral. Had breakfast at Burger King there, tapau burgers to eat in the ETS (which really was not necessary at all because we didn't get hungry) and then waited at the lounge to board the ETS. There was a long line. Apparently, the route is a popular one and the train was almost full even on weekdays. We boarded the ETS at 11.30am and reached Ipoh at 2.15pm. The start of our adventure. McD was full so we opted for Burger King instead. My advice - give it a pass. Cleanliness is quest

Time flies when you are not doing much! End of last month marked our 1st year of residing at this new place. Alhamdulillah, we are doing very well here. Even though I masih belum lagi terjun dalam pool dan masuk gym pun boleh kira dengan jari! Never regretted our decision to sell the old house and buy this much smaller apartment. Just for fun, I'm listing 10 reasons why we love this place. 1. It's 1,055sqft but has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Having that extra bathroom is indeed a luxury! Semua orang ada so-called personal bathroom. 2. Since it's smaller than before, it really is manageable. No unnecessary or unused space. Vacuum rumah sekali jalan je.  3. We feel safe. There's double security where our visitors need to present QR code that we generate, and we have to fetch the visitors from the parking. We don't use padlock for our door pun. In fact, there were times that we even forgot to lock the door! Of course we can never be complacent.  4. We save a lot on el
