I woke up this morning to very sad news. An ex-colleague passed away before Subuh. He had colon cancer. Allah... Terus duduk rumah saja hari ni. Sepanjang hari dok teringat especially wondering how his family is doing. Years ago, when my previous company was small, we were quite close. Actually all of us were very close. We were like family. He was the Sales Director at that time if I am not mistaken. Every time the company participates in a tender, we would work together as a team. Day and night. Even weekends. I remember the times I had to bring anak comel to the office on weekends to work. She was a toddler then. But she behaved very well. All I needed was her toto, pillow, toys and milk. And she would mind her own business while the team worked to finish up tender documents. He would smile and tegur anak comel every time he passed by my workstation. The current Recovery MCO will be extended until 31 December. Thumbs up! Yang penting, ada undang-undang untuk pastikan SOP dipatuhi. Yang degil dan tak reti bahasa tu memang perlu sangat this extension. Tapi yang pening, akak nak kena kira hari MCO sampai hujung tahun! Such bizarre year this 2020. For me, life is as usual. MCO or not, itu lah dia. Rasanya dah biasa dengan the new norms. Insyaallah akan teruskan sampai lah Covid-19 ni hilang. Tapi lepas tu entah apa pulak yang datang... Semoga Allah lindungi kita semua setiap masa. Minggu ni long weekend. Esok 31 Ogos. Merdeka day. Masa sekolah dulu-dulu orang panggil Hari Kebangsaan. Sekarang dah jadi Hari Kemerdekaan eh. Bila tah tukar... Last year anak comel cakap teringin nak tengok merdeka parade secara live. Ingat tahun ni lah nak cuba. Tapi dengan situasi sekarang, tak jadilah. It's been a while... Malas betul nak bukak laptop sebenarnya sekarang. Pejam celik pejam celik dah hari ke 160 MCO. Hujung bulan ni patut MCO berakhir. Tapi Covid-19 cases masih aktif lagi dengan beberapa kluster yang sangat membimbangkan especially dekat kawasan utara. The pandemic won't go away very soon and we all have got to live with it. Sentiasa amalkan SOP ya. I ni kalau boleh elak, memang elak lah nak merayap ke mana-mana. Cuma kadang-kadang tu kita ni nak lah juga keluarkan. Tapi kalau tempat tu sesak sangat, memang balik lah... I've been sewing quite a lot lately. Cuma 2-3 hari ni kurang sikit sebab tangan cedera. Alhamdulillah hari ni luka tu dah kering asbab awal-awal kena tu letak minyak gamat. Macam mana tak luka kalau budak ni kunyah tangan kita? Hari tu dia terperanjat I usik ekor dia, terus dia flying kick tangan I. Panjang gak lah lukanya. Pagi semalam (setelah berminggu-minggu cuba nak pergi), akhirnya berjaya ke Cyberjaya Farmers' Market. Anak comel sibuk nak beli cakes. Kat sana banyak jual yang susah nak cari sekarang ni especially Biscoff Cheesecake. Agak lenguh jugak abah dia dok tekan e-wallet bayarkan 4 jenis cakes daripada 2 gerai berbeza. Tapi bila tengok dia dok makan cakes tu pagi petang siang malam... rasa berbaloi lah beli! Sampai dalam jam 9 pagi. Orang belum ramai sangat. Next time should bring a mat. Senang bentang atas rumput untuk picnic. Kita orang breakfast di sini. We shared nasi lemak, yong tau foo and this Vietnamese spring roll. Masa pergi Vietnam dulu, I actually don't really like this. Rasa macam hanyir sikit. Not the prawns but the wrap itself. Tapi yang ni sangat sedap! Nanti nak try cari wrap ni buat sendiri. Dapat juga beli pokok rosemary ni. Ni kali ke 541 kot beli pokok ni. Pernah sekali dia naik agak besar. Tapi selalunya 3-4 bulan akan mati. Semoga kali ni berjaya. Daun ni geng

Covid19 cases have gone up again. It's starting to get a bit scary now... Just when you thought things have gotten better, some idiot would do something stupid and as a result innocent people are suffering. So please. Practice physical distancing. Wear face masks. Wash or sanitize your hands. I must admit, when things started to get better, I too started to get a bit relaxed. Nowadays, dah rajin semula sanitize tangan. I have been busy with my sewing projects lately. Palazzo for Nisa, Mas's daughter, dah siap. Sekarang tengah nak buat untuk Mak dia pulak. Progress slow sikit. Entah buat apa pun tak tau! Alhamdulillah, remember the palazzo I made last 2 weeks for that customer from Carousell? Dia repeat order. Minggu depan nak start buat dia punya pulak.  Made of cotton linen. Nice material. I should make one for myself! Sempat buat 2 face masks. Ada opening untuk insert filter. Baru siap buat second pair sebenarnya. Another nice colour. Also need to buy this and make one for my

I lost my Acik Yaya on 28th July. My closest uncle. My mother's youngest brother. He has not been so well for the past few months but I never imagined he would be gone so soon. Within the span of less than 2 years, I've lost 2 SILs, my mother and now him. I didn't attend his funeral. With the current situation, SOP is very tight. Wouldn't want to get into trouble! Furthermore, Hubbs asked me not to go. With my current health condition, I'm now considered "high risk". Insyaallah, my prayers are always with him.  The last time he was well enough to come to my house was Raya last year. I organised a small makan-makan and he came armed with laksa. He was an excellent cook. Always very generous with food. If you tell him you're coming for a visit, he would cook. When I took care of my mother last time, he would often come over in the morning with roti canai for us. Raya last year - he brought kuah laksa in that blue thermos and all the condiments. Everybody
