Paranoia Mode On

Today's case is 21K plus. Highest number of deaths was recorded a few days ago at 300 plus. I have one good friend from school who's battling Covid19. Alhamdulillah after almost 3 weeks of battle, she's getting better. But her experience was harrowing. She got her 2nd dose of vaccine just a few days before she was positive if I'm not mistaken. It truly helped we believe. Just this week, one of my favourite singers Siti Sarah passed away after contacting Covid19. She didn't get to see the baby she delivered while she was in induced coma. It was so heart-breaking to think of her baby who will never get to know his mother. And just yesterday, a young couple died within a day of each other leaving behind a daughter age 2 years old. These are the depressing stories we read every single day nowadays. With these craziness happening, naturally I've switched my paranoia mode on. Hubbs and I are both in vulnerable stage right now having received our 2nd dose of vaccine l...

It's a Warzone Out There

Things have gotten from bad to worst. We have all time highest number of cases and all time highest number of deaths just this past week. I just cannot comprehend this anymore. We have stayed home, being locked down to be precise, businesses are closed, borders are closed, no interstate travelling, not even inter district travelling. But still, this pandemic is getting out of control. We used to have 30-40 cases within 1km radius of our house. Today it's 94! It was 76 this morning. Crazy! And the people who contacted the virus seem to be getting closer and closer. It used to be someone's neighbour or someone's friend. Now it is my neighbour and my friend. A few days ago, it claimed the life of a former colleague. She was our receptionist when I was working in ITP/NSTP. She was found dead at her home, all alone. I was down the whole day thinking about her and this scary situation in our country. It's like each of us is just waiting for our turn to come. Ya Allah, lindun...

When Will This End?

We have actually been in PKP for more than 400 days! I have lost count. I counted before but decided to abandon the futile effort late last year. Tapi I lagi rasa risau sebab anak comel insyaallah nak masuk degree end of July. How I can be at ease when she's staying on her own with cases still above 5K per day?  Alhamdulillah vaccination program dah semakin laju. Anak comel insyaallah 5hb depan. Orang-orang yang I kenal pun dah makin ramai dapat vaccine. Hopefully number of cases akan turun. But then, these past 2 weeks have witnessed many Covid-19 d...

Lockdown Katanya

Today is the 2nd day of total lockdown in the country. Apparently ada lockdown, partial lockdown, total lockdown, sipi-sipi lockdown... Lepas ni apa agaknya lagi. Bukan apa, total lockdown tapi orang still ramai yang kerja. Yang I tahulah kan. Entahlah, I kan tak keluar rumah. Covid-19 cases tengah sangat-sangat membimbangkan. Today naik balik 7000++. Death number of today is the highest ever. So please, staying home is the safest. I read that UK reported its first zero death today; its first time since March last year. Masyaallah. It is said that UK has vaccinated 50% of its population. That's among the reasons why their number of Covid-19 cases has gone down. Jadinya, tolonglah register for vaccination. Kita ni dah cucuk vaccine daripada baby lagi. Bukan benda baru pun. Dah banyak penyakit bahaya yang pupus sebab vaccine. Jadi, jalankanlah tugas kita sebagai ahli masyarakat. Let's create herd immunity. Kita bukan saja jaga diri kita, kita jaga orang keliling kita. My little ...

Cov-Eid 2021

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Maaf zahir dan batin. Sebulan I berpuasa daripada update. Besides nothing much happening, there really was nothing much to write too. Maklumlah... pusing-pusing tang tu saja. Daripada PKPB, extend, extend, extend, last-last PKP 3.0. Mula-mula certain districts of Selangor, lepas tu merebak ke KL (just the day after), last-last the whole country is being put under PKP. Hambik kau!  Raya tahun ni lebih strict daripada tahun lepas. Langsung tak boleh ziarah rumah orang lain. Walaupun sama jalan, sama taman, sama daerah. Jadinya, kami bertiga sajalah beraya. Lepas solat Raya dengan Hubbs, makan lemang rendang segala, ambik gambar, tersandar tengok movies Raya kat Netflix, makan kuih raya. Itu je lah aktiviti kita orang anak-beranak.  Tahun ni sebenarnya preparations Raya semua Hubbs yang buat. Seriously, kalau tak memang tak Raya lah kita orang! Hubbs lah yang order kuih raya, lemang, rempeyek yang I suka tu pun dia order. Sampaikan I mention lampu ke...

Not Going Anywhere, Yet

PKPB for Selangor is extended until 31 March. Whatever. Everything is still the same. Call it what you want. However, a few days ago our PM said that in the near future, movement restriction will be focused on locality and cluster. Now we are talking! Did someone just heard me grumble? Tapi kan, kalau restricted macam tu pun I think my area will still be affected. Sigh... Anak comel dah habis exam. Ingatkan nak pergi bercuti somewhere sebelum dia start semula class mid of next month, tapi banyak tempat penuh. Maklumlah, orang Selangor tak boleh keluar negeri. Lagipun tak lama lagi nak start puasa so orang ambik kesempatan bercuti dulu. Tengoklah kalau sempat. If not, macam biasalah anak comel ooiii... merayap sajalah dengan Mommy pergi cari makan. Minggu lepas dah start merayap sebenarnya. We tried Hanbing. Dah lama teringin nak makan sandwich ni lepas tengok cerita Hospital Playlist. Sedap! Antara tempat favourite untuk makan Korean food ialah Sopoong. Reasonably priced. And very...
