Lockdown Katanya

 Today is the 2nd day of total lockdown in the country. Apparently ada lockdown, partial lockdown, total lockdown, sipi-sipi lockdown... Lepas ni apa agaknya lagi. Bukan apa, total lockdown tapi orang still ramai yang kerja. Yang I tahulah kan. Entahlah, I kan tak keluar rumah. Covid-19 cases tengah sangat-sangat membimbangkan. Today naik balik 7000++. Death number of today is the highest ever. So please, staying home is the safest.

I read that UK reported its first zero death today; its first time since March last year. Masyaallah. It is said that UK has vaccinated 50% of its population. That's among the reasons why their number of Covid-19 cases has gone down. Jadinya, tolonglah register for vaccination. Kita ni dah cucuk vaccine daripada baby lagi. Bukan benda baru pun. Dah banyak penyakit bahaya yang pupus sebab vaccine. Jadi, jalankanlah tugas kita sebagai ahli masyarakat. Let's create herd immunity. Kita bukan saja jaga diri kita, kita jaga orang keliling kita.

My little family, alhamdulillah, berjaya dapat queue untuk vaccine Astrazeneca. Hubbs will be getting it this Saturday, myself on Sunday. Anak comel tak register masa 1st phase dulu. I had my reservations then. After much research, we finally decided any available vaccine is the best. For the 2nd phase, siap dia set alarm takut miss! I would be lying if I say I am not worried or nervous. But then, insyallah semua akan baik-baik saja. Itu usaha kita, selepas itu tawakkal dan berserah kepada Allah. Yang penting tanggungjawab kita dah selesaikan. Semoga Allah lindungi kita semua daripada wabak ini.

Anak comel is nearing the end of her semester. So fast kan? Her finals will be middle of the month. Lepas tu cuti dan insyaallah if all goes well she'll be pursing her degree come July. Mohon doakan semoga semester ni dia excel ya. A few weeks ago, her faculty conducted a virtual ceremony for Dean's List achievers. Alhamdulillah dia dah 3 semesters dapat Dean's List.

Semester ni dia sangat relax. Hamboi... asyik main game je! Tak pa, enjoy it will it lasts!

Apa jadi kat rumah ni?

It is still Syawal kan? Rasa macam lamanya Raya dah lepas. Lampu liplapliplap tak jadi pasang kat pokok mangga. Pasang dalam rumah lagi best!

Kittens hari tu dah besar. So far sihat cuma mata ada problem sikit. Hubbs rajin jadi vet tolong cucikan mata dan letak ubat. Diaorang ni jalan still gigil-gigil tapi dah start main.

Setelah lama tak menjahit, I got an order to sew a few fabric masks, along with a pouch. Mesti sebab KKM advise suruh pakai double mask ni. I pun bila keluar sekarang pakai double. Dalam 3-ply, luar fabric mask. Maunya tak sesak nak bernafas kan? Tapi actually OK je. Frontliners lagi teruk pakai PPE sehari suntuk. Bertabahlah!

I miss travelling so, so much. Kalau dapat merayap domestik pun dah cukup baik. Ini gambar calendar I untuk June. Masa trip ke Surabaya. Orang panggil tempat ni Bukit Teletubbies. Dekat dengan Pasir Berbisik dan Gunung Bromo. Sigh... tengok gambar sajalah... Semoga kita dapat bebas bergerak seperti dulu very soon.
