Aliyah Still Not So Well

School holidays is almost over, Aliyah is still not so well since last week. She's still having a cold and now started coughing. Good thing the fever is gone. As always, every school holiday I mesti busy. Bila I free, dia pulak sekolah. This time around we didn't take her anywhere. Hubby busy this week with the dividend announcement. And I'm drowned in work. Of course that's good news. No work => bad news.

Things at work are going quite well these days. I pray my company will survive this economic crisis. So far the crisis has not shown its impact on us as yet. But we are smacked with the (crazy, unstable, stoopid, ridiculous) political crisis ever since the general election last year. And it's getting worse by the day.

My supposedly seminar today was postponed for the second time to next month due to low take-up. But we finally have enough participants. People are interested to come but restrained by - budget belum keluar (ni kan dah nak masuk April, budget tak keluar?), tengah tunggu approval (dah apply 1 month in advance pun belum approve?) and various other reasons that we relate to the current political secenario. So, sebagai rakyat yang selalu jugak naik angin... terpaksalah akak follow the flow...

Despite that I am happy that we might be getting that web development project (80% chance I must say). But still need to submit concept designs, which I finally relented. This kind of presentation is very tiring. The slides preparation and all are OK, but the presentation itself is always stressful. Sometimes rasa nak give up je, you know like - "ko nak bagi project ni, bagilah, tak nak tak pe!" and walk away. Penat justify points and convince people that we are the one. Of course I don't do that lah. I fight till the end. And I have my great partner Atom to thank, and Hajar for support. Insyallah, we'll get it.

And another good news is that the project on SME that we are doing now is progressing well and yesterday we received green light to write and publish the materials commercially by the client - err... as long as we don't mention the organisation, can only thank the individuals. So, I'm roping Hajar on this writing project. Insyaallah, God willing (and if we are disciplined enough), we'll be authors, hehehe... Jangan lupa beli buku we all ye!

Anyway, just putting Aliyah's faces here. Muka budak tak sihat tu...
Selera makan kurang tapi I masak pasta with cream sauce dia makan banyak juga. Mata dia merah sebab badan panas...
Main dengan Mok - kucing yang perasan we all bela dia...

Tapi lagi baik bela mok yg perasan dari bela siamang perasan.
