We spent Saturday working some DIYs on the house. Aliyah was with her Mak Long, so senang sikit kerja. Bukan apa, kalau dia ada, nak kena prepare meals. Bila berdua je, tak lah pikir sangat pasal makan. Morning, after late breakfast, we hit the hardware store to buy stuffs ie paint, brushes, etc. Then, went to place order to replace our auto-gate yang dah rosak sebelah tu. Petang we worked on the gates - Hubby sand-papered and then we painted them. Alang-alang nak replace auto-gate arms, might as well cat baru kan. Manual labour is so tiring. We finished the main gate and the side small gate just before Maghrib. Adoi, macam nak patah pinggang. Looked very nice actually :).
This morning pulak, we worked on the garden. The plan is to "overhaul" the garden. We wish to make it slightly maintenance free. Meaning - less grass. The plan is there, sedang usaha nak buat bit by bit. We started work last 2 weeks actually. Now, dah gali semua pokok-pokok yang dah huru-hara tu (sampai akar pun dicabut), racun the grass (this morning for the 3rd time), replace some plants, change places of some other plants, etc. I guess baru 10% siap. Banyak lagi nak kena buat! Next week nak start order pasir, gravels and batu-bata. How the garden will look like? Beats me!
Anyway, we managed to have a nice quiet dinner at Chakri Express last night. Pre-birthday dinner for Hubby walaupun lama lagi :). Sempat membeli new cycling pants for myself. Semangat membara nak cycling tapi this morning bangun dengan headache yang agak teruk. Insyaallah next week nak start cycling every morning (yeah right!).
