Day 3 of UPSR

Last day of exam and a very long one too. The papers were English (1 & 2), Science and Aptitude test, the latter started at 2.45pm and ended at 4.15pm. So, Aliyah spent the whole day at school. We thought of taking her out for lunch but she said - "cikgu tak bagi". Very well. So, we did our thing instead - which is running errands. Lots of places to go, mostly banks. Finally a long stop at my Angah's office to discuss stuff.

Witnessed a miracle in the act of giving unconditionally. Long story short - an orphanage needed money due to some mishaps (which Angah is a regular contributor), my brother down in cash at the moment, while contemplating got to know I was coming, got a bit stressed out because he thought I came over to discuss our business venture, promised the orphanage the last of his cash for this week anyway, I came with some cash instead (owed him a bit and also my portion for something we are contributing together), he finally got the sum enough for the orphanage and extra for himself. It's a miracle because when you give at the time when you are at your lowest, that is the biggest challenge by God - whether you will help people or you stick to helping yourself. But when you give, putting someone else than yourself as priority, the reward is almost immediate. Subhanallah...

Anyway, fetched Aliyah at 5.30pm - after the kids finished rearranging their desks at their own classes. We took her out for roti canai and she told us about the funny questions of the aptitude test. I am so glad that she finished her exams. How well she will fare is in God's hands. One thing for sure, she's on leave tomorrow. So, we'll be taking her out for nice lunch and some shopping, then send her over to her Mak Long's place till Sunday.
