Ya Allah... who would have imagined this would happen. For the first time since our country's independence, the Government is no longer Barisan Nasional. While we have been "brainwashed" for eternity to believe that the country will be thrown into chaos if the opposition (now Government) wins, the opposite just happened. We are celebrating. It's the beginning of a new era. The voice of the rakyat is finally heard after years and years of being shut out.
I only slept a couple of hours after the election results were out. Itu pun just light sleep. Some how the mind wouldn't rest. It kept on disturbing and poking the body with excitement 😁. But I woke up feeling so energized. The air was so fresh, the weather so beautiful. Like my friends said - macam ada extra oksigen pagi ni! But then, when we should be rejoicing, the country was shrouded with tension due to the delay in swearing in of the new PM. It was not until 10pm, when Tun M was officially declared as the new PM that I really could rest. Alhamdulillah.

Malaysia had to rely on this "old man" to take us out of our dark days towards a better future. And he did it! Imagine that. And the love and respect he received was tremendous. Our true colours as Malaysians were finally revealed. Race, religion and beliefs are being put aside.

It's going to be a long, difficult and challenging journey for the new Government. But insyaallah. As long as the elected stay true to their promise, the rakyat will stand together and support.
So, in the midst of all the happenings yesterday, I successfully made the Japanese Knot Bag. At first it didn't turn out as expected. That difficult part was still giving me problems. I then tried to make another one. That was even worst. So I reverted back to the first one and completed it carefully. Adehhh... bila buat made to order ni memang stressful!
