We started late because we had to attend Aliyah's graduation ceremony in the morning. After she received her scroll, take pictures, we both went for breakfast and then a short meeting with Hubby's friend to discuss signage for the shop. By the time we went back to school, the ceremony had just ended. We didn't miss much lah.
A few pit stops - paid the grill guy and ordered glass display cabinets. Lepas tu terus ke kedai. We only stopped for lunch at 4.30pm. Itu pun after the Thai restaurant owner came for a visit. Then, the air-cond shop next door yang sama-sama sedang renovation work visited pulak... Alhamdulillah, so far our neighbours are OK. Semoga boleh sama-sama berniaga dalam harmoni.
The work ended at 6.15pm. Kelam-kabut sebab Aliyah ada graduation dinner pulak. By the time we locked the shutters, both of us smell like Bangla lepas balik kerja. Hubby kata, bukan I kata. I believe he was referring to himself, not me of course.

This is to be the place to hang items. We plan to install wired netting. Very challenging task painting this wall orange. The colour doesn't seem to blend well. Dekat 3 coatings baru OK. Itu pun not so smooth. Banyak makan cat lah dinding ni. We finally decided, we will finish up the orange paint at these 2 walls only. Nasib baik beli 1 tin je. The rest of the walls will be light grey.
This is the small office painted apple white. Bau pun sedap. Very smooth job painting these walls. I guess that's the difference between lights and dark colours. Now dah boleh install air-cond while waiting for the 2 board walls to be plastered again.
Anyway, we actually saved a lot on paint. The apple white paint we bought at half price because the hardware store guy said "salah bancuh". We didn't plan on the colour for the office at that time, but then "apple white" sounds fine with us! The orange paint pulak hardware store tu dah nak discontinue using the brand. We also got it for huge discounted price. Now, kena visit the hardware store again and see if we can find a nice shade of grey at discounted price.

View from the back ie service area. I'm thinking of the many creative and cost-effective ways for storage instead of the conventional way of setting up a store room. We can always use the walls to hang stuff using shelves, the huge space under the sink top and the huge space on top can also be installed with shelves. I just got an idea to install shelves in the office for storing files instead of putting a filling cabinet that will take up space.
