Pai Susu Version 1.1

Semalam Aliyah buat Pai Susu lagi. Her 2nd attempt. Suka betul dia makan. Kali ni sama saja cuma slight change in baking method. Like before, mostly dia buat semua kecuali masukkan dalam pie pan dan sorong masuk dalam oven. This time around I said let's experiment blind bake. Masalahnya tak jumpa anything yang boleh dijadikan pemberat. Nak guna beras, sayang la pulak. So, main masuk je dalam oven dalam 5 minutes.

This time around, I asked Aliyah to use whisk untuk kacau filling. Sebelum ni dia guna spatula. Hasilnya - major improvement in terms of texture :)

Very nice. Recipe was given by my Kak Lang years and years ago. Sebelum egg tart popular. I once tried making the pie into muffin pans. Kecik-kecik. Jadi macam Portugese Egg Tart sikit-sikit :)
