Day 4 - Hot Spring

It's the last day of our holiday. Pagi-pagi bangun dengan rasa tak percaya. Cepat sangat masa berlalu.

Lepas tu dia ajar cara-cara nak rendam kaki sampai lutut (or rendam satu badan) dalam air panas. Selalu kan dok rendam sikit-sikit. Yang akhirnya tak berjaya pun sebab air rasa sangat panas. Petua dia senang je. Masukkan terus dan dok diam-diam. Jangan bergerak, dia kata. Which was very logical. Scientifically, udara panas or air panas akan ada kat atas, yang sejuk di bawah. So, kalau kita masukkan kaki sikit-sikit, memanjang la kena air yang panas sebab kat atas. Kalau terus terjah masukkan kaki sampai bawah, and just stay put, yang kat bawah tu tak lah panas sangat compared to kat atas. Bearable lah. Pandai lah pakcik tu!

We alternated between hot spring and cool mountain pool till around 11am. Lepas tu balik villa and get ready to check out.
Best pegi Sungkai Hot Spring on a Monday. Tak de orang. That's the pool yang berwap-wap tapi we managed to rendam sampai knee level. Berkat petua Pakcik Hj Said. If you ever go to the hot spring, pegi lah cari dia :). Lumut tu tumbuh dalam pool ni. Tapi on that day dah kena cuci. Tapi the pakcik showed us where to get it. At a small hot stream just nearby.
Sebelum check out ambik gambar dulu :)

We planned to meet up with another friend, Wan, at Kuala Kubu Baru. For lunch, we stopped at R&R Slim River. I really have no idea how that place is called an R&R sebab macam jalan biasa je. But the nasi campur here was awesome!
Ini lah gerainya. Sedaapppp and banyak choice.

That was the end of our journey. It was amazing, full of adventure and fun. And it was so good to hang out with best friends from school again. We have started to plan our next trip! Anyway, the holiday was very economical even though we stayed at quite good places (even a villa in Sungkai!), ate a whole lot of food, went to many places, paid for petrol and toll, and we even strayed (or rather, got lost!). As the treasurer, I collected only RM400 each from the four of us. That means Aliyah and our friend Ude joined us for free. The last bill I paid at the hotel in Sungkai was ngam-ngam habiskan budget.

Alhamdulillah. We must do this again! Right now, in between planning, usaha untuk jalan-jalan cari makan dekat-dekat area masing-masing sedang rancak dilaksanakan :)
Till another adventure!

P/S Oh yes! Lupa pulak. The night before, all of us was sitting in front of the TV watching news when we saw this scrolling news flash. It said: "Bapa ayam ditangkap di Georgetown". We looked at each other and screamed - that must be the reason! Hahaha...
