It's Finally Launched!

Alhamdulillah... The portal we developed is finally officially launched. Now that it's launched, barulah boleh cerita :)

We were in Kuantan for 2 days. On Wednesday night - the rehearsal. The event was supposed to be Jamuan Hari Raya + official launching. So, that night everything was rehearsed and tested. Things look good. Our client was in jubilant mood. Right after the rehearsal (which was just 1/2 hour), they went to the next room to join in the band rehearsal. Dengar cerita semuanya menyanyi...

On Thursday - the launch started at 5pm. The MB of Pahang and the rest of the BoD came down from their meeting and officiated the portal. No glitches. Everything was smooth. Our team in KL were on standby throughout the event.

I was still not well, but after the MB launched the portal, my fever simply went away :). Actually, this is the first time that my project is being officially launched, by the Menteri Besar some more! Previously, it was just standby for migration and testing. Even the big websites. So, you can imagine the size of the butterflies in my stomach!

Do check out Invest in Pahang portal. We built it from zero. From nothing to this informative portal. I think the strength that we brought in for this project is on the content - we researched, interviewed people, studied tonnes of brochures, wrote, rewrote, translated, etc. And the technicalities - the CMS, the applications... And the team was excellent. We work really well together. How I wish I can get a steady project and group all of them together under one roof.

And our client. It's not every day one can get such understanding and committed client. When we said goodbyes to them after the sumptuous, mouth-watering, excellent, I-want-more Raya food, we received firm thankful handshakes and hugs.

The launch...
Masa rehearsal... The CEO is on stage. On the right is the lovely MC - Husna.
The CEO Dato' Lias giving his speech.
The Pahang MB launching the portal with the rest of the BoD.
The VIP table where the BoD sat. We actually sit at the next table :) Merasa akak jadi ala-ala VIP. We sat with Pn Khalijah the deputy CEO from whom I got huge tips on losing weight! And also another Deputy CEO Dato' Rahim who introduced me (and told me the history) to the best ever Laksa Pahang.
And oh, one of the BoD (legal advisor) the one in dark gray on the left is Yuna's (the singer) father. I got the info from Puan Khalijah :)
The MB entertains the crowd with Hari Raya songs. The band is from PDRM and they are called "The Roadblocks"! Hehehee...
