Cat Cafe Concept

Our little family just stayed home during the CNY holidays. Macam-macam aktiviti plan nak buat tapi tak berapa nak menjadi. Hampir setiap hari hujan. Plan nak hiking dengan Aliyah tak kesampaian. Anak comel sudah agak terbuka hati dan mindanya nak ikut pergi hiking😍.

We did venture out to go somewhere new - Cat Signature Cafe. Aliyah dah lama ajak pergi. Dekat saja - Seksyen 8 Bandar Baru Bangi. Baca reviews katanya coconut ice cream sedap. So we went. On Saturday.

Ini my personal opinion ya. I don't think cat cafe is a good concept. That kind of concept in particular. I remember dulu pernah baca cafe @Johanandhiscats ada limit - how many can enter at one time and the time frame. Yang ni I think can just pay and enter. I'm not sure on age limit though.

So there you have cat-loving people yang peluk kucing. And kids dok perambat kucing. I understand when you go there, you pay that much, mestilah nak main-main dengan kucing kan. I pun. But then I think the cats were exhausted. And sleepy. Masa tu dah jam 4 petang. Memang time tidur. But then cats sleep all the time! Ada yang tarik kucing yang tidur bawah sofa just to take photos. Ada kucing yang cuba nak larikan diri menyorok belakang sofa pun kena tarik keluar. Ada sekor dua kucing yang very smart awal-awal dia orang dah lari naik ke tempat tinggi tak da siapa boleh kacau.

I was there, looking around me feeling so uncomfortable. I regretted going there, contributing to making the cats stressed. Nak pegang pun rasa takut kot-kot I kacau dia orang nak tidur. One cat tried to escape to another room but got pulled back. It then tried to go behind this rack to sleep but since it was quite big and fat, it can only manage to wiggle its head in. Baru nak lelap ada orang angkat. Sigh...

I believe it has come to the point that the whole thing can be considered animal cruelty. Ok, I might be a bit extreme here but I love cats. And I love them so much I don't think putting them there from 11am-11pm and letting people come see and hold them (let's just block out any thoughts of them being pinched or dragged or I don't know what else) is something that should be allowed. I believe if the owner really love his/her cats, he/she won't allow the cats to be treated in such a way.

I told Hubbs and Aliyah that it was the last time we ever go to such cafe again. I am against the concept.
Maine coon ni agak garang. So, kids tak berapa berani nak usik.
I talked to this guy - kesian awak... awak mengantuk ye... nak buat macam mana ek... sedih tau tengok nasib awak... sorry ya, saya pun mengada datang sini kacau awak... lain kali saya tak buat lagi😢

Ok, we did have tea there. The coconut ice cream was nice. Bila makan tak sakit tekak macam I makan Sangkaya. We also had salted caramel cake. That was delicious.
