My second attempt at making that double zip wristlet also failed. Haisshhh... it's not really the technique. It's the materials used. Tak ikut arahan dan specification. Kali ni hampir jadi. Tinggal stitch that last round to bind the bag together. Tapi bulky sangat. My sewing machine refused to cooperate. Instead of using the suggested interfacing, I guna yang tebal sikit. Memang tak lepas lah.
Dah nak siap dah! Kalau dapat sew around this memang dah jadi. Apakan daya. Campak masuk tong sampah akhirnya. Malas nak salvage.
So I told that nice lady that I couldn't make the wristlet she wanted. But if she still wants me to make her a wristlet like the old one but according to the size she wanted, I'm more than willing. She said yes and picked the fabric she liked. I finished making the bag just now but it's a test bag because it's been so, so long since I made a bag. Seperti biasa, terlebih pandai, I missed one layer of inner fabric. Tapi memang I buat ni untuk warm up. Serious memang dah lupa macam mana nak buat. Insyaallah lepas ni nak buat yang kecik-kecik, cute-cute macam dulu. Kain tengah banyak ni.
Hasilnya. Ni buat pakai sendiri lah. Esok nak buat yang betul-betul punya!
That grey fabric tu sebenarnya beli baru ni. I bought these 2 nice looking cotton fabric. One meter each. Yang grey tu ingat balance nak buat iron board cover. Nice fabrics by seller I found on Shopee. Harga pun sangat OK. Boleh beli lagi!
Tengahari tadi ziarah my Acik Mun yang buat kenduri arwah 40 hari my Acik Yaya passed. Dia nak pindah balik Kelantan next week. She has nobody left here. Sedih pulak rasanya dia nak pindah. Nak kata rapat sangat tu taklah tapi baiklah juga dengan dia. Allah... semoga dia dapat semangat dan kekuatan baru nanti insyaallah.

It's September already? How time flies... It's our birthday month. Last Tuesday I bought Hubbs a new shirt at H&M. An early birthday present. Bukanlah birthday present sangat pun. Memang nak belikan dia work shirt sebab dia dah lama tak beli yang baru. Gantung kat bilik belakang letak small ribbon. A surprise. Semalam ada delivery for him which was actually something for me. A new shears for my gardening activities. Dia ikat the same small ribbon and put it on the stool at our patio while I was checking out my kebun sayur. Hahaha... Pening anak comel tengok Mommy dan Abah dia bagi hadiah for each other.
I guess after more than 20 years of marriage, we have given each other lots of birthday and anniversary presents that by now rasanya semua dah ada! Sekarang masa untuk bagi each other practical presents!

My new shears! Love this. Senang gila nak prune dahan pokok walaupun besar. Sebab baru sangat tajam. Kena careful!
Kebun sayur I dari pandangan sisi. Kecik je tapi macam-macam ada. Tiba-tiba banyak sayur besar serentak. Minggu ni nak kena ambik bendi, bayam dan sawi. Pucuk labu pun kena ambik sebelum kena mesin weekend nanti.
