 Alhamdulillah. Things have started to get better. In Selangor that is. KKM said it's due to the high number of vaccination in the state. Dengan izin Allah vaccine works. Walaupun selalu sakit hati baca pasal anti-vaxxers ni, I must say I do respect their choice as human beings. However, the feeling should be mutual. They should respect us, pro-choice too. Or for a much better term - pro-evidence. As being vaccinated is a choice, both parties should accept the consequences. For anti-vaxxers, they must accept the fact that there are things they can't do, places they can't go, etc. I don't understand why they say they are being discriminated. To me, itu untuk keselamatan dia orang sendiri. You are not protected, so you shouldn't go around freely because you might get infected. You should stay home.  Today's case is 21K plus. Highest number of deaths was recorded a few days ago at 300 plus. I have one good friend from school who's battling Covid19. Alhamdulillah after almost 3 weeks of battle, she's getting better. But her experience was harrowing. She got her 2nd dose of vaccine just a few days before she was positive if I'm not mistaken. It truly helped we believe. Just this week, one of my favourite singers Siti Sarah passed away after contacting Covid19. She didn't get to see the baby she delivered while she was in induced coma. It was so heart-breaking to think of her baby who will never get to know his mother. And just yesterday, a young couple died within a day of each other leaving behind a daughter age 2 years old. These are the depressing stories we read every single day nowadays. With these craziness happening, naturally I've switched my paranoia mode on.  Today is the 2nd day of total lockdown in the country. Apparently ada lockdown, partial lockdown, total lockdown, sipi-sipi lockdown... Lepas ni apa agaknya lagi. Bukan apa, total lockdown tapi orang still ramai yang kerja. Yang I tahulah kan. Entahlah, I kan tak keluar rumah. Covid-19 cases tengah sangat-sangat membimbangkan. Today naik balik 7000++. Death number of today is the highest ever. So please, staying home is the safest. I read that UK reported its first zero death today; its first time since March last year. Masyaallah. It is said that UK has vaccinated 50% of its population. That's among the reasons why their number of Covid-19 cases has gone down. Jadinya, tolonglah register for vaccination. Kita ni dah cucuk vaccine daripada baby lagi. Bukan benda baru pun. Dah banyak penyakit bahaya yang pupus sebab vaccine. Jadi, jalankanlah tugas kita sebagai ahli masyarakat. Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Maaf zahir dan batin. Sebulan I berpuasa daripada update. Besides nothing much happening, there really was nothing much to write too. Maklumlah... pusing-pusing tang tu saja. Daripada PKPB, extend, extend, extend, last-last PKP 3.0. Mula-mula certain districts of Selangor, lepas tu merebak ke KL (just the day after), last-last the whole country is being put under PKP. Hambik kau!  Raya tahun ni lebih strict daripada tahun lepas. Langsung tak boleh ziarah rumah orang lain. Walaupun sama jalan, sama taman, sama daerah. Jadinya, kami bertiga sajalah beraya. Lepas solat Raya dengan Hubbs, makan lemang rendang segala, ambik gambar, tersandar tengok movies Raya kat Netflix, makan kuih raya. Itu je lah aktiviti kita orang anak-beranak.  Tahun ni sebenarnya preparations Raya semua Hubbs yang buat. Seriously, kalau tak memang tak Raya lah kita orang!  I don't count MCO days anymore. Too much work. Too many days. Covid-19 cases continue to climb. My last check on My Sejahtera showed 44 new cases within 1km radius of our home. We are staying put at home. Semalam keluar kejap dengan anak comel pergi beli barang sikit dan singgah McD drive-thru for sundae and latte. Anak comel lagi lah terperuk kat rumah tak keluar langsung these days. She's in her 5th semester taking 7 subjects. Sekejap-sekejap ada mid-term exam. I really hope she's coping with her online classes. Selalu bagitau dia if she feels overwhelmed, don't keep it to herself. Tell us.  My sewing project is slowly progressing. Really slowly... I made one bag last week. Now slowwwlllyyy doing another bag. Fitness wise, I completed all stars for January Samsung challenge. It's the last day of 2020! Tapi rasa macam hari-hari biasa saja kan? I heard there won't be any fireworks tonight. To celebrate the coming of the new year, today's Covid-19 cases is record high - at 2525! Pening kepala I... But you know what, life goes on. I guess by now we have already accepted the fact that the virus will be around for many, many moons to come if not years. Hiduplah dengan the new norms. Cuma I agak sangsi kenapa by now ramai lagi yang tak reti-reti nak buat penjarakan fizikal kat tempat sesak. Takkan tak biasa kot? Dari bulan March kot? Sighhh...  These few weeks have been abuzz with news on vaccine. Alhamdulillah. Kita kat Tanah Melayu ni dapat February nanti. Sabar saja lah menunggu. Sebab sabar sangatlah sampai I tak da mood langsung nak update blog tau. Anyway... PKPB di Selangor dan KL dilanjutkan sampai 14 January. Setakat ni Selangor selalu champion dengan cases paling tinggi. Tapi taklah terasa sangat sebenarnya sebab dah boleh ke sana ke mari. I...

Covid-19 cases have skyrocketed lately. Besides Sabah and Kedah, Selangor is heavily affected as well. The numbers might not be as high as the other 2 states, but the scattered cases are worrisome. It was announced yesterday that the whole of Selangor will be placed under PKPB starting after mid-night today. Honestly, never saw this coming. But then, I guess it's the only way since people are damn too selfish these days. Especially after the Sabah election. No words can describe how disappointed the general public is seeing the Covid-19 cases go up each day. And half of the cases are contributed to the election. Yang paling menyakitkan hati is the cases originated from politicians and the likes who came back from Sabah and have no sense of responsibility to quarantine themselves. Entahlah... penatlah!
