Most Considerate Little Girl

I always think my daughter is the most considerate little girl in the whole wide world. If she wants anything but we couldn't buy - cannot afford or tunggu gaji Abah or whatever - she never ever throw tantrum melalak guling-guling atas lantai. Never. She would listen to our reasons and she would say OK. Sometimes she argues giving her own reasons but she would accept our final decision.

We went for Raya shopping at Alamanda yesterday, for Aliyah of course. This year we decided, with Aliyah's consent, that there is no need to buy new baju kurung for her because last year's are still in very, very good condition having only worn not more than 3 times. We'll only be buying for her a dress, a pair of shoes, jeans and T shirts.

First stop, Reject Shop because saw some nice girls T Shirts there dulu. We bought her 1 pink T Shirt that costs RM16.90. Next, Bata sebab I saw a newspaper advertisement this nice Bubblegummers shoes yg looked lebih kurang macam the one she wanted at Clarks. The difference in price between the two - almost RM100. But couldn't find that shoes at Bata, so we went to Clarks. That pair she wanted costs RM128. (Mommy dok pikir banyak kali ni...). But then tak ada size pulak... We went around but couldn't find the one she liked. Finally she said - "Tak payah lah beli kasut. Kasut Raya dulu kan elok lagi. Aliyah nak pakai kasut tu." Sure or not? "Tak payah beli, tak payah beli. Pakai kasut Raya dulu," she said.

OK, next beli dress pulak. She wanted these flower-girl-at-wedding kind of dress whereas I wanted a more practical one. Finally found a beautiful Poney red dress at half price. She loved it. (Jimat duit Mommy...). Cari jeans semua tak muat - longgar as Aliyah is so skinny. So, that will be our quest next week.

Today I asked again whether she wants new shoes because I wanted to take her for shopping. Aliyah ni jenis tak suka being asked so many times. Siap tarik nafas - "Kan Aliyah dah kata, Aliyah tak nak kasut baru. Aliyah kan nak pakai kasut Raya lama. Kasut tu elok lagi." (Dengan tone - mak aku ni tak reti-reti ke...).

Ok la, ok la...

Yes, she is... And I thank God every day for the precious gift. How was her Mommy then? Oh wow, actually dunno la. I was told I always "beralah" with my little brother. Err... have to I guess or else I get my mother's famous and painful "cubit".
