Sebenarnya Day 2 tidak banyak beza daripada hari sebelumnya. Snorkeling lagi! Cuma pagi Day 2 trip pergi ke Marine Park. Kali ni naik boat "Ferrari". Hehehe... boat agak buruk yang dua kali rosak dalam perjalanan. Rasanya bukanlah rosak yang teruk. Engine stop kejap dan dalam 5-10 minit, OK balik. Marine Park is the place where everybody from other resorts would come. So, ramailah juga umat kat situ. Snorkeling daripada beach masuk ke laut compared to open sea yang turun daripada boat. Memang best walaupun, again, corals banyak yang dah mati. Tapi excited dapat tengok species Nemo weh! Jay & Ies saja yang ambik gambar kat sini. Panas bila dah menjelang tengahari. Tu yang cepat-cepat naik boat nak balik chalet. Balik chalet, lunch, rehat kejap. Sempatlah terlelap sambil borak-borak tu. Lepas tu terjun laut semula. Gila apa achik-achik ni kan? Sebenarnya, depan chalet tu pun dah memang best untuk snorkeling. Memang berendam saja aktiviti kita orang.  Sent Hubbs ...

After Subuh, cari breakfast di Pasar Payang. It was very early but the food center was already buzzing with activities. The food? Punyalah banyak variety! Since dah kat Terengganu, masing-masing of course lah cari nasi dagang :). Lepas tu terus ke jeti. Alhamdulillah sampai awal. Feri patut jam 9, tapi 8.30 dah ready to depart. The journey was about 1.5 hours. Tapi duduk dengan dia orang ni memang tak rasa pun :) Sampai Pulau Redang kena tukar ke transit boat sebab chalet tak ada jeti. Lepas tu terus check-in kat Redang Lagoon. Chalet ni ikut kata Jay ialah yang paling murah di Redang. Review di Tripadvisor memang tak berapa best. Tapi surprisingly - tempat tu sangat best! The view was fantastic. Chalet betul-betul mengadap laut. Since it's at a lagoon, pantai sangat tenang ombak tak besar. Kalau datang dengan kids, memang sangat sesuai. Yang best, food was abundance. Makanlah banyak mana nak!  This was the first view when we reached the beach. Masyaallah... tengok the ...

It was a trip to Redang Island. One of the best trips ever. Amazing place, Masyaallah. Good food with crazy company of friends. The trip was planned before Ramadhan. Dengan rasa tawakkal, I bayar saja deposit to Jay, our trusted travel planner. At that time, I didn't know whether I could make it. But I have always wanted to go for snorkeling trip, the last trip was years ago when I was working in NSTP. So bila dah bayar mestilah usaha untuk pergi kan? Alhamdulillah Hubby could take leave from work. He came back Friday last week and took over my duties :). The trip consisted of 3 anak dara and 1 mak dara. Hahaha... Ude was supposed to go but had to back off at the last minute, so another friend, Shake replaced her instead. The other 2 are the regulars - Ies and Jay. We took the bus (to and fro). It was a budget trip. We forked out less than RM400 each - all in i.e. bus and ferry fares, food and accommodation, etc. That was for 3D/2N at Redang Island, and 2D/1N at Kuala Terengganu....

I'm trying my very, very best to finish up this user manual I'm currently doing. Kena submit draft on Monday. Insyaallah, I'll be going for another adventure with the girls Sunday till Wednesday. So, the draft document must be completed and emailed to the client (must remember this!) by Saturday. Oleh kerana kena jaga pinggang daripada terpeleot, I don't sit too long doing the document. Sebab tu progress agak lambat. Lagipun bosan gila. I dah mintak cuti from my brother. Hehehe... bagitau dia awal-awal so that he can get ready - mentally and physically. For the past almost 3 weeks, I never miss a day mandikan my mother. I'm doing the best I could to make things easy for him. Really need the break. Orang kata apa - dah sampai hidung dah ni. Tomorrow need to do my mother's laundry. Should be enough to last till next week. Hubby is coming back tomorrow. He's taking a week off from work. Aliyah will be in good hands. Hubby was home over the weekend. For the past months, area KLIA dah jadi tempat melepak for Aliyah and I. On Fridays yang Hubby comes back, I will wait until he sends message to say that he has already boarded. Lepas tu baru both of us gerak. Sometimes Mitsui (lately dah tak pergi sebab macam bosan), selalunya KLIA2. Jalan-jalan window shopping (but more often than not, Aliyah will get something for herself!), then dinner. Bila Hubby dah touch down, baru gerak ke KLIA. On Sunday, as usual, I dropped him off at departure hall at around 8.15pm and went straight home. His flight was at 9.45pm. I have started working on my laptop when he informed that his flight was delayed. At around 11.15pm he said the flight will be the next morning and they are all being sent to Marriot to stay for the night. I offered to fetch if he wanted to go home. 15 minutes later he asked whether I can fetch him. I quickly sent a message to the one person that I know should still be wide awak...

Yes, we met up today. I drove all the way to Giant Mall Kelana Jaya since Ina is around the area. The traffic was bad. There was a stalled trailer somewhere in KL and traffic seemed to have gone haywire at a lot of places. I had to exit Kajang toll and take the LDP instead of Kesas. 10 minutes late for our meeting. I rushed to Secret Recipe but she was not there. Replied to her message and waited. Just minutes later, Ina came around the corner, looked at me cautiously and grinned. She looks exactly the same. Just like that last day of SPM exam 28 years ago when we said our goodbyes. I honestly was at the brink of tears when I saw her. We shook hands and the first thing she said was - pipi kau masih gebu lagi macam dulu! Hahaha... Tak jadi keluar air mata! We had a lot of catching up to do. 28 years is a very, very long time. I told her we did talk on the phone about 2 years after she got married. She said that must be around 1997. Funny that we both actually have only one kid - a d...

I'm so excited. And happy. A long lost friend has been found :). It started with posting of photos on FB by some Sri Aman friends. This bunch of them went for a reunion. I really don't know which class that was even though I know more than half of them. But then, I was at SRK Kg Tunku before, and then Sri Aman. Obviously the students are that bunch of people! I lost track of who's with me at which class on what year. It got me thinking of my days at the school and some old friends. I have been trying to get in touch with my jiran sebelah meja Ina Zulina for years. We sat together for 2 years ie Form 4 & 5. I couldn't trace her before. After some time I just gave up and the effort was forgotten. After looking at those photos of old classmates yesterday, I tried searching for her name. It took a while. Maybe she had her profile private. I finally found this FB account that has her name in one of the comments. Despite putting cats as her profile picture, I knew it ...
